A human Purifier and recurring opponent whose encounters are tied to Kirin Malefact. Kunai uses a katana, fast movement, and projectile-like sword attacks, while the paired confrontation forces Emma to track Kirin's attacks at the same time.

Recommended strategy

Prepare Poison Arrows, Poison Bolts, and the Hunter's Sword. At the beginning of the documented encounter, pressure Kunai until the story transition occurs, but keep Kirin's position in view because its tracking projectile can arrive while Emma is focused on the human target. Kunai's airborne katana swing produces a projectile that can be dodged sideways or parried; do not immediately counter if Kirin has already begun an attack. Higanbana: Roots with Rapid Cooling can restrain Kunai and create a safer opening. Her grounded strings have small recovery windows, so use one or two attacks and reset rather than extending a combo across the duo's overlapping pressure. In the Capital confrontation, follow the same Poison plan and choose a target based on which opponent is already controlled. The goal is not constant aggression: separate their timing, bind one combatant, and damage the other without allowing both to attack from outside the camera.
