A massive Malefact bound to Shidou and fought repeatedly across Emma's journey. Its independent encounters establish its sweeping melee strings and projectile pressure before it becomes one half of the recurring Shidou and Nue duo battle.

Recommended strategy

Poison is the consistently supported weakness for Nue's documented encounters. At close range, guard or parry the sweeping forelimb and tail sequences instead of attempting to trade through them; the rapid multi-hit string can overwhelm Emma if the first impact breaks her rhythm. Higanbana: Roots can interrupt or bind Nue and creates the safest window for a full melee sequence. When Nue withdraws, use the bow or crossbow to preserve damage rather than chasing directly into a new charge. During duo encounters, focus Nue first: its size, mobility, and ranged attacks make the arena much harder to read while Shidou is also applying pressure. Keep Shidou in view, avoid spending every defensive resource on minor hits, and use Entanglement Overdrive after Nue completes an attack rather than during an active combo. Once Nue falls, the remaining duel with Shidou becomes substantially more predictable.
