A huge reptilian Nushi encountered twice in the Ancient Civilization Zone. Lacerta attacks through a mixture of heavy body movement, poisonous pressure, and a second phase that makes careful resource management more important than an all-out opening.

Recommended strategy

Equip the Thunderwave Sword or another verified source of Lightning damage, and carry Lightning Bolts or Lightning Arrows for the second phase. Poison resistance is valuable because Lacerta can force Emma to remain near hazardous areas while the creature's body occupies much of the arena. During phase one, conserve ammunition and learn the timing of its heavy turns, bites, and body attacks. Koo's Javelin with End of the Line helps apply Lightning, while Roots can stop Lacerta long enough for Emma to attack safely. When the shock gauge is nearly full, trigger the effect during a genuine damage window rather than while Lacerta is repositioning; the resulting vigor can support the next sequence. In phase two, use the saved ranged ammunition to maintain pressure when approaching the head or flank would be unsafe. Binding remains useful, but do not stand beneath the creature after the effect ends. Reset to open ground, read the next movement, and repeat the Lightning buildup.
